The scheme to renovate the Royal Albert Bridge across the River Tamar at Saltash has received an accolade.

The project to strengthen the steelwork of Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s mid-19th century railway bridge and renew the paintwork was highly commended at the Institution of Civil Engineers South West Civil Engineering Awards 2016.
