Harry Lidgley, 23, plans to visit all 168 RNLI Lifeboat stations during his 7,000km adventure. He’s being joined for parts of the cycle by Exe Endurow skipper OLI DAWE-LANE.
Having set off from RNLI headquarters in Poole on Saturday, the pair will now be heading for Fowey. The pace is high, as Harry aims to complete the journey – the equivalent of five lots of Land’s End to John O’Groats - in just 42 days.
“The RNLI is a volunteer organisation that works tirelessly to protecting those at sea and on beaches around the UK,” said Oli.
“Its volunteers aren’t paid and risk their lives for no reward to ensure the publics safety.”
