A SUCCESSFUL fundraising evening - taking the theme of shipwrecked - was held by Callington Rotary. A group of survivors including a motley engineer and party revellers gathered to raise £440 for Rotary International. In addition to the fundraising, Bruce Brown, the pastor of the town's Mustard Seed evangelical church, was given the Roger Harris award by president Rick Lumley. Pastor Brown was given the award in appreciation of his significant assistance and promotion of better understanding among peoples of the world.
