Looe Valley Rotary Club’s outgoing president, RN Commander Dennis Udy, has become a Paul Harris Fellow. The title, named after the man who founded the Rotary Club in 1905, recognises those who have made a significant contribution to Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study – the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.

Presentations were made to several good causes during the Looe Valley Rotary Club’s annual dinner. Receiving cheques for £500 from retiring president Dennis Udy were Annette Lock for the RNLI, Gwyneth McLoughlin for Children’s Hospice South West, and Ken Moore for Mount Edgcumbe Hospice.
