CALLINGTON Rotary Club have announced the new president of the club, with Chris Granger stepping down. John Ware, from Kelly Bray, will take over, and his presidential year will run until next June. One of John's first appearance as president was at a talk given by Barry Turner of the 49er Rotary Club, Nevada City, California, who has managed several large-scale dental and medical projects through Rotary International. The talk was held on Monday, which was American Independance Day, and was about how the projects have helped areas in Nepal, Tibet and Uganda.
