Caradon started the second-half of the season looking to reverse their previous result against Truro. But Truro had brought a stronger team with them this time around and showed more attacking intent from the outset.

Caradon, though, are also an improving team and the game ebbed and flowed with each side leading at a time. Caradon went ahead mid-way through the first-half with a good turn-and-shot from captain Martin Batty that went in off the inside of the post.

Truro levelled not long after when Caradon conceded a soft short corner that was well converted.

The teams went into the break even but Truro started the second-half stronger and went into the lead with a good through ball that was flicked over the goalkeeper. Caradon equalised with a converted short corner of their own, ably put away by Batty.

Caradon continued to press and were looking the better team throughout the second-half.

They were undone however, by an unfortunate mistake at the back which allowed Truro to tap home at the far post and leave Caradon feeling robbed for a second time against these opponents.
