A riding and road safety exam was held at Polmartin Farm, near Lanreath, with eight candidates successfully passing their full exam.

Eleven students passed their theory, with eight going on to pass the simulated test and the riding on the road test.

Polmartin has previously trained people for riding and road safety but had not been able to send them close to home for their exams, so decided to be an exam venue themselves.

They train everyone from total novices to experienced riders. They also have tracks, all off-road and around the farm, available for riding out.
