Tree felling work will mean restricted access to Priory Park and Priory Car Park in Bodmin tomorrow.
Due to the essential removal of a large ash tree, there will be extremely restricted access to both areas for the whole day.
The lower tier of the short stay car park and the entire long stay car park will be closed to all vehicles. The middle and top tiers of the short stay car park will remain open but the exit over the flow plates will be closed, so all vehicles will need to exit the same way they enter, which is opposite the toilet block.
Priory Play Park will be closed, and access through Priory Park (by the duck pond) will be restricted to one path only.
’Clearly this will cause a serious level of disruption, but the location and size of the tree and the machinery required to safely remove it mean that the closures and restrictions are unfortunately vital, and we thank you for your understanding,’ said the Town Council.
