In the Cornish Times newsroom we’ve produced three festive editions of your favourite local paper packed with news and pictures: the main edition, and the recently launched Saltash and Bodmin editions.

The main and Saltash editions lead with the news that people were actually waiting for the doors to open at a new South East Cornwall charitable scheme providing warm winter coats and clothing for those in need. More donations are being sought.

The Bodmin edition leads with the fact that the town’s Old Library will be open on Christmas Day for a special free event, run by the intoBodmin CIC, for which businesses have donated food, drink and gifts and to which everyone is invited.

Among the articles inside, we highlight the efforts of a seven-year-old schoolgirl who has raised more than £1,600 for the MS Society, because her mother suffers from relapsing multiple sclerosis. We also have eight pages of ‘Little Christmas Stars’ Nativity pictures from schools around the area, as well as lots of your community news and pictures and regular columns such as Ray Roberts’ Nature Watch, your Letters, TV Choice and the latest Books.

There are also Farming & Equestrian and Motoring pages and 10 packed pages of Sport. Find all of this and more in this week’s Cornish Times editions, in shops from today (Friday).
