A retailer has backed its local football club to the tune of £300.
St Ann’s Chapel Football Club received the donation from Pearce’s Service Station towards new resources for the club.
Pearce’s made the donation through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity, to help the club to purchase training equipment and make improvements to its facilities.
The club was founded in 2016 in a bid to bring football back to the community and is a non-profit club run by volunteers.
