St Germans Parish Church is facing near closure after a recent drop in congregation numbers means it can no longer cover its running costs.

Now residents have formed an action group to campaign against the proposed changes.

Regular Sunday worship at the church, which is built on the site of a former Saxon cathedral, will be scrapped if proposals by the Parochial Church Council (PCC) are given the green light by the Diocese of Truro.
