FAMILIES are being encouraged to help create wildflower areas at a popular recreation spot near Liskeard.

Siblyback Lake is hosting a pop up planting event on Wednesday (April 11) and all are welcome to join in between 10am and 12 noon, says the South West Lakes Trust.

The event follows a successful working day in February when more than 1,100 bulbs were planted.
