200 A found themselves in excellent form away at the Wheelers B in the Knockout Cup quarter finals this week.

Shaun Roche, Trevor Endean, Karl Davies, Charles Allsop and Phil Elliott all won their singles without dropping a frame. Andy Waters replied for the Wheelers B beating Mark Bowden by 2-1 in a game that Mark should have also won by 2-0.

Carbeile B found themselves 4-2 down after the singles at home to the Mark of Friendship. There were wins for the Mark through Rob Perrens, Anthony Triggs, Alan Walker and Des Dillon. Andy Hall and Colin Gosselin replied for Carbeile B. The Carbeile B have shown a lot of character in past weeks and they stunned the Mark of Friendship by taking all three doubles and the match by 5-4.

Another team who were 4-2 down were Kings A who were playing stable mates King Pins. K Harris, A Miller, NA Miller and M Webb all won singles for the King Pins, with S McCann and R McCarthy replying for the A. Trailing 4-2 the Kings A turned on the style and took the three doubles and the match by 5-4 to move into the semi finals.

Wilcove Warriors who won this cup last season, were home to the Carbeile C who have now lost some of their players and are hoping to maintain their team in the league till the end of the season. It was no surprise that the Warriors won by 5-2 with wins from K Tullett, R Pender, I Jenkins and R Bunston in the singles and the winning point coming in the first doubles. M Walkden and R Stones replying for the Carbeile C in their singles.
