It's the same as last season in the Knockout Cup final with the Wilcove Warriors up against the 200 Club A.
Wilcove Warriors came through their semi-final against the Carbeile B by 5-3. All square here after the singles with J Cook, K Tullett and I Jenkins winning for the Warriors and L Carroll, K Scott and C Gosselin for Carbeile B. Warriors then took the first doubles and if the black ball had not hung over the pocket in the next doubles for the Carbeile B it would have been all square. However, the Warriors took their chance and the match by 5-3.
200 Club A must have thought it was going to be straight forward after going 2-0 ahead in their match against the Kings A at the Mark of Friendship. They were soon proved wrong with Steve McCann, Roland Hill, Ian Canty and Mike Anastasou putting the Kings A 4-2 ahead. Karl Davies and Roy Rice winning for the 200 A. So then it was the turn of the doubles and in so many cases the 200 Club A took all three doubles to gain a great victory and a final place in the Knockout Cup final against old rivals the Wilcove Warriors.
Knock-Out Cup Semi-final - Wilcove Warriors 5, Carbeile B 3 (at 200 Club); Kings A 4, 200 Club A 5 (at MOF).
