Wilcove Warriors opened up a 24-point gap between them and the King Pins, who they beat this week 5-4 with wins in the singles through K Tullett, I Jenkins, R Bunstow and M Humphries. M Webb and W Cooper replied. Warriors sealed victory with the first doubles only for the King Pins to reduce the arrears with the last. Eight ball clearance here for W Cooper of the King Pins.

200 Club A visited third placed Mark of Friendship and came away 6-3 victors with singles wins from T Endean, S Roche, C Allsop and K Davies. 200 A then took the last two doubles to win on the night by 6-3, D Dillon and A Walker scored for the Mark of Friendship.

Carbeile B are now a much improved and stronger side, winning once again this week 7-2 at home to the Wheelers B. Leading 5-1 after the singles with wins from L Carroll, K Scott, A Hall, P Byrne and C Gosselin, Carbeile B then took the last two doubles for a fine win.

Wilcove Hotshots found themselves 3-0 down away to the Kings A, but levelled at 3-3 with wins from L Fearnley, C Deacon and P Argrave. Kings A then took the first doubles to lead 4-3. Hotshots levelled at 4-4 only to lose the match on the deciding doubles.

200 Club B stay bottom after their latest defeat - 6-3 - at home to the Millbrook Football Club. All square here after the singles with T Johnson, M Lee and K Johnson winning for the 200 B and J Clarke, M White and R Colrein replying for Millbrook. Millbrook then took all three doubles and the match 6-3.

No card between the Mosquito Sailing Club and Carbeile C but it has been said that the Mosquito won by 5-4.

The secretary would like to point out if score cards are not in by the following Friday of the match. The winning team will lose five points.
