Porters A retained the Section A championship after a 3-2 victory over the Fountain Ringers, who can still clinch the runners-up spot with victories over Caradon, Ship and Victoria.

Caradon had a 4-1 win over Victoria Vikings and look favourites to gain the runners-up position.

Dobsons A gained a vital 5-0 whitewash over the Bullers Arms to narrowly avoid relegation, providing Victoria do not beat the Fountain. Ship A claimed five points when Barley A failed to attend and are certain to be relegated.

Victory gives Warriors title

The White Horse Warriors enjoyed a comfortable 4-1 win over close rivals Porters B to win the league by six points. Porters one point was enough to ensure them of runners-up position. The match winners were Jordan Whaley, Chris Williams, Nick Parks, Russ Hemmings and Richard Hooper.

Barley B hung on to the Runabout Shield with a 3-2 win over Highway A where the winners were Rachel Sleep, Kev Gayton, Dan Smirthwaite, Bernie Hardy and Chris Yabsley.

Stag A had a comprehensive 4-1 victory over the White Horse Snakes through Richard Harford, Danny Welch, Carl Duffy and Dave Jackson but were later awarded all five points after the Snakes fielded an illegible player.

Highwayman B were awarded five points when the Railroaders failed to attend.

Stag Knights win closest division

The Stag Knights hung on to the top spot in Section C despite a 3-2 defeat by wooden spoonists Victoria Vixens.

Amazingly three teams all finished on 45 points, only separated on frame difference. The match winners were Paul Pethick, Emma Vine and Lisa Palmer who share the ladies most wins title, Angie Palmer and Jamie Ryan.

The Stag Hunters gained the runners-up position with the five points awarded from Great Trethew, closely followed by Butchers B who defeated Dobsons B by a 4-1 scoreline.

Dobsons C were awarded five points with a no-show from the Sports Club.

Rob Frizzel final to be Porters derby

The final of the Rob Frizzel team knockout will be an all-Porters affair between Porters A and Porters B. Porters A gained an excellent 8-2 victory over reigning champions the Caradon. They won the first set of singles 4-2 and then took all three doubles matches and sealed the win with Pete Ivey defeating Pete Crowle.

Porters B showed tremendous team spirit to defy the odds and become the only Section B team to reach a major cup final with an 8-4 triumph over the Victoria Vikings. They led 5-1 after the first round of singles but lost 2-1 in the doubles. They soon reached the winning post with wins from Dave Brown and Martin Coe to seal the match.

Consolation Cup final

The White Horse Warriors enjoyed their first cup victory with an 8-4 win over Barley A in the Rob Frizzel Consolation Cup Final. The scoreline was tied at 3-3 after the first round of singles, but the Warriors took all three doubles matches and quickly wrapped up the match winning two out of three singles games in the last round.
