Wilcove Warriors go eight points clear at the top of the table after beating the Carbeile C 7-2 with wins from J Tullett, R Pender, I Jenkins, R Bunston and B Sampson to lead 5-1 with R Stones replying for the Carbeile C. Carbeile C's other point came in the last doubles match.
King Pins kept up the pressure on the Warriors with their sixth win in a row. They beat Wilcove Hotshots 5-4. All square here after the singles with K Harris, A Miller and M Clake winning for the King Pins with Kevin Harris having an eight ball clear up. L Fearnly, S Pearce and G Bettinson replied for the Hotshots. Kind Pins took the match on the deciding doubles.
200 Club A had a fine result when they overcame the Kings A 6-3. K Davies, M Bowden and T Endean were all singles winners for Kings A. 200 A took all the three doubles to complete a good win.
Wheelers B were at home to the 200 Club B and inflicted the second 8-1 result on 200 B in as many weeks.
After losing 8-1 last week to the King Pins the 200 B got off to a bad start at the Wheelers going down 5-1 in the singles. With the match lost, the 200 B also came second in all three doubles to lose once again by 8-1.
Mark of Friendship went 5-1 ahead in the singles at home to the Mosquito Sailing Club through R Perrins, A Triggs, D Dillon, A Walker and J West with Ryan Goddard replying for the Mosquito doubles to close the score to a narrow defeat at 5-4.
