Seventeen-year-old Matt Harrison is looking forward to voting in today’s European Union Referendum.

Matt qualifies to take part in the vote because today he turns 18.

The sixth-former, who is currently taking his A-Levels, will be visiting his local polling station to cast his vote.

He said: ’I’m glad it’s fallen like this, so I can vote. Some of my friends who have been following the referendum can’t vote because their birthdays are in the coming weeks.’
