South East Cornwall Liberal Democrats have begun campaigning for Britain to stay in the European Union.

The party says a vote to leave the EU at the June 23 referendum would mean losing funding and subsidy payments to farmers under the Common Agricultural Policy.

On social media, the Lib Dems have also argued that Britain would still have to negotiate fishing quotas even if it were not a member of the EU.

South East Cornwall’s Conservative MP Sheryll Murray has already declared herself for the leave campaign.
