JD WETHERSPOON has put an end to several years of a ‘will they, won’t they’ debate with the announcement that a pub will open in Liskeard next spring.

Work is set to start at the former Taylor’s Garage site on Barras Street at the beginning of September, with an expected opening date of March 27, 2018.

The derelict site, which is adjacent to the Grade II listed Stuart House, was first mentioned in connection with Wetherspoon around five years ago.
