RESIDENTS of all ages are being asked to say how they want the St Cleer area to develop in the future.
How much and what sorts of new housing are needed, parking and transport links, and new leisure facilities for the parish are all hot topics on a survey which has been sent out for residents to fill in.
A drop-in session for the St Cleer Neighbourhood Plan was attended by a steady stream of people, many of whom had in-depth questions to raise, said local Councillor Derris Watson.
But Derris is concerned that, so far, younger people are not filling in the questionnaire.
Hard copies were delivered to all households in the parish in the run-up to the first public event last week – but the survey can also be filled in online from a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
Derris said: ‘I’m getting 15-20 responses back each day through the post, but almost all of these are from the senior generation. One thing concerning me is the lack of response from the middle and younger generation.
‘The online survey is easy to do, has exactly the same questions, and should only take five to 10 minutes.’
Deadline for surveys to be returned is Friday, October 20.

The drop-in exhibitions will be at Commonmoor Village Hall on Thursday, September 28 (2-6pm) and at Darite Village Hall on October 12 (2- 6pm).
