Legal discussions are taking place between Cornwall Council and the owner of a disused public house.

Saltash Town Council, who were concerned about the state and safety of the derelict building which has become an eyesore on Waterside, had started a compulsory purchase order process on the building but Cornwall Council advised them of the current legal proceedings in place with the owner.

They have advised the town council that they will inform them as soon as they have a result from the legal team.
