A FORMER police station is set to become a funeral home after plans were approved by Cornwall Council.
The building on Callington’s Saltash Road will be the 11th local premises to be opened by funeral directors Walter C Parson, and should be in operation at the start of next year.
The Callington policing team moved out of the former police station in 2015, and took up a unit in the town’s Pannier Market which is not accessible to the public. Regular drop-in surgeries are held in Callington and the Tamar Valley.
