A PLAN to create a barbecue and picnic site next to the West Looe River has been given the go-ahead by Cornwall Council. Clearing work is being carried out at a former boatyard site within the Kilminorth Woods Nature Reserve, and the picnic area should be open for use at the start of April. The Looe Boat Owners Association (LBOA), who are behind the project, say the facility will benefit people of all ages.
