A boarded-up toilet block in Liskeard town centre could be turned into flats.
The public toilets in Pike Street have been closed for some years and were sold by Cornwall Council in 2011.
Planning permission was given at that time for the demolition of the block and the construction of two apartments.
The current proposal from owner Mr Angelo Lotdnou would see the toilets knocked down and three flats built in their place over four floors.

Planning: Irreversible harm caused to building among biggest planning stories of 2025A request for pre-application advice was submitted to Cornwall Council.
The building is currently up for sale.
In his response, the planning officer said: ‘The principle of the redevelopment of this site and provision of residential accommodation is broadly acceptable.
’In light of the site’s position in the heart of Liskeard’s conservation area, a fundamental issue will be its impact on the character and appearance of both the conservation area and neighbouring listed buildings.’
The toilet block adjoins a grade II listed building to the east, the planning officer continues, and the site is ‘very prominent’.
A full planning application would need to include a historical impact assessment to take into account the sensitive location, he added.
