Land at Dobwalls which had been earmarked for new houses will now not be developed for the time being, says the parish council.

In May, Pearce Fine Homes had asked Cornwall Council for advice on a potential scheme to build 47 homes at Beneathway.

It was reported at a recent meeting of Dobwalls and Trewidland Parish Council that the managing director of Pearce Fine Homes had been in touch with the clerk. The landowner ‘had decided to withdraw the land for development and would retain it for the time being’, he said.
