A BID for advice on plans to build eight homes near Moorswater has met with a lukewarm response from Cornwall Council planners.
Pre-application guidance was sought for the demolition of a redundant workshop and the erection of eight dwellings and an access road on land south east of Trevillis Park, Liskeard, next to the Cornwall Council depot at Moorswater.
But planning officer Samantha Hewitt noted: ‘I can offer no encouragement to the submission of an application to test this proposal.

‘A more suitable development in principle is likely to be a business or employment use that would fit with the character of the area and prove less vulnerable to flood risk.’
