Liskeard cattle market site plans have attracted a lot of interest since going on public view, say consultants LHC.

About 100 people stopped at the town’s Morrison’s store last Friday to view the displays, said urban design director Paul Osborne, with another ‘couple of dozen’ asking questions at Liskeard’s carnival last weekend.

The plans will be on the town council stand at Liskeard Show tomorrow (Saturday) and you can view the options and make comments online until consultation ends on Monday (July 11).

LHC has drawn up the initial concepts following conversations with groups including tenants, farmers, traders, students and the town council – and will continue to shape the plans after getting public feedback.
