A new development of three houses just outside Liskeard is among the latest planning applications being considered by Cornwall Council.

The three homes could be built at Lodge Barton, Lamellion, Liskeard. The natural stone and timber-clad, single-storey dwellings would be built in and around the contours of the land and existing areas of trees. The applicant said: “Our current accommodation is no longer suitable for our family. The ideal solution is to build on land that is not being used for anything.”

The proposed initial occupier would need to meet the qualifying criteria for Armed Forces or provide evidence of a local connection and provide evidence of eligibility of housing need as outlined in the Affordable Home Ownership Affordability checklist.

SCHEME to build nine new homes on land south of Luxulyan Village Hall would need to be considered by Cornwall Council according to pre-application advice.
