A PROPOSAL to build four houses on land near the former Horizon egg farm at Tremar, near Liskeard, would be unlikely to gain approval, says Cornwall Council.
Landowner Murray Hooper had asked the authority for advice over the possibility of creating four self-built affordable homes at the site on Baker’s Hill.
In his response, planning officer Steve Jefferson said that the plot ‘is not suitably located to be promoted for self-build affordable housing’ and that as such, a full planning application would be unlikely to gain officer report.
However, Mr Jefferson noted that this advice did not constitute a definitive response from the local authority.
