COSTA could be opening in Liskeard as the coffee shop giant proposes a branch on the outskirts of the town.
The new coffee shop, if it is approved, would be situated on the Bubble retail park, which also contains Argos, B&M and Pets at Home.
Plans submitted to Cornwall Council show that the coffee shop would be built on the righthand side as you enter the retail park, in an area currently partially used for parking.
The car parking at the site would be rejigged to enable the new build, says agent Montagu Evans, and no parking spaces would be lost as a result of the scheme.
The new Costa would include an outside patio area for customers, and a new pedestrian crossing would be created near the entrance to the car park.
The coffee shop would aim to serve people visiting or working at the retail park as well as picking up passing trade.
