EAST Looe Town Trust (ELTT) is inviting members of the public to give views on its plan for the former ladies’ toilets at the Guildhall, East Looe. A consultation day will take place on Saturday, April 16, between 10am and 4pm in the Guildhall tea room (entrance next to the Tourist Information Centre). Residents and traders in Looe are being invited to fill in a simple form to say whether or not they support the trust’s idea for the building. The trust did not wish to divulge details of the proposal prior to the event, but a spokesperson said that anyone unable to attend the consultation could view the plans at the ELTT office after April 16. The architect who is helping the Trust to draw up the plans will be there to answer questions on the day, the spokesperson added.
