In the Men's Premier Division, St Austell A are now likely to escape relegation after their narrow 4-7 defeat at fellow relegation conditions Bude A, who were served by an unbeaten performance from Gary Bickle and Mike Keat. With their win at Wadebridge A, St Agnes A are now confirmed as Division One champions with any of four teams able to join them for promotion to the Premier Division.

In Division Two (East), Bude B climbed back to second position with wins over Wadebridge C and St Austell B. In the Wadebridge match, Ray Short and David Wasserman were unbeaten whilst against St Austell B, David was joined by stand-in Richard Pearce to chalk up another excellent maximum and gain Bude the win on the strength of an extra set being won during the evening.

In Division Three (East), Newquay replaced Bodmin B in second position after their 8-4 success over their rivals whilst Bude D gained their win over Truro D due to fielding of an ineligible player by the Truro team.

In the Ladies' Premier division, Truro A suffered a second successive defeat despite an unbeaten performance by Dory Crellin and JUlie Waters and although they now lead the table, Penzance A are only three points behind with two matches in hand. The top two teams met in Division One (East) with Bude B maintaining their unbeaten record against St austell C only after a close-fought match in which no pairing emerged unbeaten.

The loss by 4-6 in two very closely contested matches by Wadebridge B against Launceston and Liskeard has extinguished their title hopes in Division Two (East) in favour of St Austell D who need only two more points. In Division Two (West), Veryan climbed to equal second position after their close 7-4 win over St Ives who had no answer to the V Simeoni/R Hosken partnership.
