The Bodmin branch of RGB Building Supplies recently gave customers and staff the chance to score a penalty against the company’s mascot, Archie Bee, helping to raise £389.73 for Children’s Hospice South West.
Penalty takers made a £1 donation to take their shot and all those that beat Archie Bee were entered into a prize draw to win a television.
Branch manager Steve Best said: ’The penalty shoot-out was great fun and, although Archie Bee’s performance wasn’t quite up to the standard of Jordan Pickford, he did save a fair few shots!

Children’s Hospice South West is RGB Building Supplies’ chosen charity and the builders merchant is organising a number of events to raise funds. The hospice provides care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.
