CALLINGTON will say goodbye to a well known church-leader this weekend. Pastor Bruce Brown is leaving the town after 11 years to return to his home in America. 'I'm going to miss the people,' he said. 'We have forged some very deep relationships with people. Callington has become my town and it is very hard to leave.' Pastor Brown originally came to Cornwall to establish a pastoral mission for Americans living in the Westcountry and to work at the Mustard Seed. The call of his family will take him back to Western New York as he wants to spend more time with his four children and six grandchildren. He will lead his final service in the church at 10.45am this Sunday, March 12. Everyone is invited to attend the service which will be followed by a celebration lunch in the church hall.
