PLANS to build on the 'feelgood factor' brought about in Liskeard by the Olympic Torch Relay and Diamond Jubilee celebrations have been put forward by the town council.

One of the main proposals is to have a twice-monthly market on The Parade.

Cllr Steve Barrett said: 'We will be building on the feelgood factor by arranging regular exciting events throughout the year to bring the people back into the town.

'We are working on holding regular markets on weekdays which would highlight local traders, Cornish produce and crafts.'
