Rare otters may be making a return to Cornwall.
National Trust rangers and volunteers have been placing secret cameras to capture the activity of a group of otters at Penrose on the Lizard.
The conservation charity is now hoping the camera footage will prove that the otter population is starting to make a return to the area.
Otters have been in decline in Cornwall since the 1960s and 70s, when their habitats became threatened by poorly-kept and polluted waterways.
