CHAIRMAN of Polperro Christmas Lights Committee, Robert Chisman, together with secretary Sheridan Hughes, have been going along to the Seaview Holiday Village every Sunday between the end of March to October, on a fundraising mission. During each visit they have run a raffle to raise money for Polperro's festive lights, offering a variety of prizes, and have raised £1,750. To show their appreciation to the holiday village they have presented a certificate to Stuart Boulton, the entertainments manager. 'The management of Seaview have been fantastic this year in allowing us to run our raffles for the lights. With their help what we have been able to raise will go a long way to lighting up Polperro for the festive season,' said Richard. 'Thank you to everyone at Seaview for their support. Let's hope we can hit the £2,000 mark next year!'
