A town is a step closer to getting a skate park, which it has been campaigning for for more than ten years.
Planning permission was given for a skate park five years ago at the Millpool area of West Looe, and Looe Development Trust (LDT) has around £7,000 to build the park. Originally it was hoped the park could be built at the far end of the Millpool car park, close to Kilminorth Woods, but concerns over noise put the plans on hold.
Now a new location has been suggested at the other end of the car park, in between the children's play park and public toilets.
That area is currently permit holders only and several parking places for permit holders will have to be relocated if the plans were given the go ahead.
