FANTASTIC weather and a fabulous line-up of indoor and outdoor entertainment and stalls made for a winning combination at Lostfest – Lostwithiel's annual festival of music, arts and crafts.

The free family event saw crowds thronging the streets and riverside to see more than 150 musicians and entertainers perform in what is becoming known as Cornwall's biggest busking event.

As well as music and dance, there were arts and crafts demonstrations, workshops and stalls, and stands offering a variety of locally-produced food.

Organisers said: 'What an amazing day LostFest 2012 was. We couldn't have had better weather and it was a brilliant atmosphere – thanks to everyone for coming along and making it so fantastic.'

LostFest has supported the Front Line Emergency Trust (FLEET) for the last four years and to date has raised more than £10,000 for the charity. All profits from this year's event will go directly to FLEET to buy new equipment. 'We are deeply indebted to our generous sponsors, our stallholders, advertisers and to everyone who donates to support this event,' said a festival spokesperson.
