MUSIC stars serenading pasty fans at this year’s world championships in South East Cornwall will include Cornish festival favourites - and some Britpop legends.
The Eden Project has announced the entertainment line-up for the big event on March 3.
Britpop legends Dodgy, who were a big hit last June when they were special guests at the Blondie Eden Session, will play alongside Cornwall-based band 3 Daft Monkeys, dubbed the highlight of Glastonbury Festival by broadcaster Mark Radcliffe, and Cornish rap duo Hedluv + Passman.
Entries are open for the seventh annual World Pasty Championships.
In a first for this year, the championships will be the climax of the inaugural Cornish Pasty Week (February 25 to March 3) inspired by the Eden event and delivered by industry membership body the Cornish Pasty Association.
