CADET sergeant Marie Appleton, of Callington St John Ambulance, has been given an award of excellence for completing 200 hours of volunteering in less that 12 months. Marie is a member of the Millennium Volunteers scheme, through which she completed her work, and was presented the award by Lady Mary Holborrow, the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall.
