Saltash Library set a book competition for young people before Christmas, which about 30 children entered.
The competition - 'Find the children's book in the shop window in Fore Street' was won by nine-year-old Michaela Slocombe, a pupil at St. Stephen's School, Saltash, and a Brownie with the 6th Saltash pack. She was presented with a book token by Julie Distin, library manager and Sylvia Roberts, community liaison officer.
In April the library at Saltash hopes to hold a Shakespearean day with staff in costume of the period.
