DELIGHTED organisers of last week’s Liskeard Old Cornwall Society exhibition say the event was a huge success.

Hundreds of people visited ‘Memories of Liskeard’ at Stuart House, which featured many never-before-seen historic photos of the town and surrounding area.

Recorder Paula Arthur said: ‘The Liskeard OCS would like to thank all those who supported our exhibition.’

The group’s next meeting is on Friday, September 8, in the Long Room at Liskeard Public Hall. when there will be a talk by Carol Vivian, followed by refreshments.
