A special service in memory of Daniel Kebble is to be held at Talland Church, near Polperro, on Saturday next, January 29, Father William Braviner officiating. Poignantly it will begin at 3pm, the last time the young fisherman's voice was heard when he radioed another boat, and it will be exactly 21 days since he has been missing. Daniel was 21.

Taking part in the service will be Polperro Fishermen's Choir who are to sing "Will Your Anchor Hold" and "Lower Lights". Transport to the church and back for those who require it, will be by mini bus from Bartletts car park in Polperro, and light refreshments will be available after the service at the Trelaske Hotel, where the family will be pleased to meet everyone. There are no floral tributes by request but donations in lieu are for the Mission to Seamen (Newlyn), Looe and Fowey Lifeboat Stations, and the 1st Cornwall Air Ambulance.
