The future of a historic church will be discussed at a meeting on Sunday (April 23).

Parishioners in North Hill have been told St Torney’s Church faces closure because of financial pressures.

The church council has sent a letter to everybody in the parish asking for help and ideas.

They have arranged a meeting at mid-day after the morning service and parishioners are asked to attend if they want to save their church and offer any ideas for fund-raising.

Any involvement would be appreciated, say the churchwardens.
