Fresh from three sell-out shows in London, the Royal Marines Band Plymouth return to the Pavilions.

Having performed to more than 15,000 people at the annual Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the massed bands of the Royal Marines, RM Band Plymouth will perform a number of the pieces from the London concerts in their home city on Saturday, April 28.

In recognition of the hundredth anniversary of the end of the First World War, the band will also perform a piece especially composed for the Mountbatten concerts entitled ‘Never Forgotten’ by Gareth Keachie, himself a former member of the Plymouth Band. The piece features a film which vividly depicts the wartime story of two buglers in the Royal Marines Light Infantry.
