Conditions on the Kernow Course were perfect as a number of Fossils contested the Long Tom Trophy.

They certainly suited Alan Lyme, (below), from the Bronze Division, playing off a handicap of 19, who demolished the opposition with a Stableford score of 45 points – three points ahead of Mike Fryer and Cliff Sleat in second and third respectively.
