Caradon travelled to Pool for a match against the promoted Duchy team.

The hosts opened the scoring early in the first half with a bouncing shot across the 'D' that managed to evade everyone.

Caradon responded immediately, though, with an attacking move that resulted in their first penalty corner.

A strong shot from Paul Luiten was deflected to Martin Batty waiting at the post for an easy tap-in.
