Surprises at

school show

THE annual end of term Christmas show at Looe Community School was as fun filled and riotous as usual, with an assortment of acts taking to the stage, some of them quite surprising!

Who could possibly have thought of deputy head Tom Saddler as Elvis Presley?

After strutting his stuff complete with wig he is know seen in a completely different light. Then came a troupe of teachers in shades, wigs and all manner of garb, pretending to be young!

But to top it all some very 'strange females' took to the stage in a send up 'Boys will be Girls'.

A definite wow was glamorous Ellie Trent, whose rendition of 'Santa Baby' received rapturous applause from fellow students.

The show finale was 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' in which everyone joined in to bring a very seasonal ending to an excellent term.

donors

THERE will be blood donor sessions at the Guildhall, East Looe, on Monday and Tuesday, January 14 and 15. On both days the sessions will be from 1.30pm - 3.15pm and from 5pm - 7.15pm.
